Actually, Tex Watson testified during his 1971 trial that he alone killed Rosemary LaBianca and that he essentially forced Leslie to stab the woman, but it was after she was already lying still on the ground after he stabbed her with a knife at the end of a bayonet. Autopsy reports concurred that the 16-17 wounds at Mrs. LaBianca's buttocks (done by Leslie) were made post-mortem or after the victim had officially respired. Tex continues to maintain that he alone inflicted the fatal wounds on both Rosemary and Leno LaBianca.
